Business Plan - St. Therese Ambulance Service
In our community in Muzon, City of San Jose del Monte, Bulacan, ambulance service is dominated by the LGU owned ambulances. I noticed for the past three years that in instances that our lying in clinic would call for them to transport our patients to our accredited hospital, most of the time they are not available because of so many reasons: the driver is drunk, the ambulance was used by a barangay official for personal travel, and some other reasons that are quite inexcusable. I also noticed that its purpose is simply for transportation of the patient, and their one and only equipment is only an oxygen tank. Most of the time it is only the driver who is on board, with no other paramedics who usually have the knowledge of giving immediate treatment to patients in case something happens while transporting them.
This is the reason why I came up with this business plan. I have seen the necessity of an efficient ambulance service, besides of providing transportation to patients, providing emergency response during the transport or to a nearby accident or disaster is lacking.
