1. The group Iron Chef presentation
This is meant to give us a first experience on product concept, product planning, process, execution and making the sales pitch.
The groups must submit the name, the menu, (the ingredients and process)
Writing this is a practice in the product portion of the Business Plan. You have the concept (idea, ideation) and then you moved to product itself. Submission of the product portion of the BP should be a piece of cake
2. The opportunities in the street near you.
This is the marketing, customer centric product design. You move from what the customer need to the product concept. It is the common mistake to move from your ideas, from what the firm can produce produce and hope for the best (marketing myopia) that the product will sell.
The product (me) orientation means that the owner produces a project, product that he likes and then look for buyers. Look for buyers first, user of the product, the opportunity and then produce the product. If you are planning to build a complex, commercial center, find out what will be needed in the area, look for the tenants, and pre sell the units. Lease the building first before building. That is what many developers are doing
